Osteopath Dr Kristopher Sanford
Osteopath Dr Kristopher Sanford is a Melbourne trained Osteopath whose previous work has seen him work in Melbourne and Sydney with a mixture of high level sporting teams, golfers, and desk based office workers.
Upon moving to Sydney Kristopher narrowed his focus to his two main fields of interest; limiting the effects of a sedentary desk based lifestyle, and golf.
The effects of desk based work are becoming more common and Kristopher’s approach works with the individual mechanics of the patient’s body to best achieve a return to a sustainable pain free and functional state. He achieves this through close analysis of imaging (x-ray, MRI, etc), individual patient goals, and mechanical limitations. This approach allows Kristopher to achieve a sustainable management plan for his patients so they can enjoy their time outside of work.
Kristopher considers himself a weekend warrior on the golf course and this passion for the game has seen him work closely with many golfers in his practice. Kristopher prides himself on being able to help golfers find a more consistent, maintainable swing to lower their handicap. Kristopher also works closely with Golf Pros in order to find the best swing for golfers who may have structural or functional limitations in their swing.

Kristopher can then assess your injury or pain via movement based tests to confirm what may be the cause of your pain.
These tests may include orthopaedic testing, a spinal examination, postural assessment, muscle testing, and neurological testing. During this initial assessment patients will typically receive treatment unless it’s un-safe to do so.
