    Dr. Lucinda Slavin

    Chiropractor Dr. Lucinda Slavin Lucinda graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Science (1995) and from Macquarie University with a Masters of Chiropractic (1998). She has been in private practice on the Northern Beaches for the past 27 years, running a practice that focuses on the body’s natural healing mechanisms by working with the spine, extremities, biomechanics and nervous systems.

    Lucinda has also been a lecturer and tutor at Macquarie University for the past 22 years to the 4th year Chiropractic students, teaching Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation. Her background in teaching extends to clinic, as she enjoys educating her patients about their condition, treatment plans and options to achieve their functional goals.

    She uses a combination of techniques including gentle manipulation and mobilisations, soft tissue work, dry needling and exercises, being adaptable to treat and manage a wide range of conditions and presentations.
    As a mother of three children herself, she has a passion for treating children and families and has vast experience in the management of scoliosis.

    Dr. Coco Ho

    Chiropractor Dr. Coco Ho Having experienced chronic back pain from a young age, Coco was introduced to the benefits of chiropractic treatments early in life, and it was from this experience that lead her to applying for, enrolling in, and eventually completing the 5 year Bachelor of Chiropractic Science & Master of Chiropractic program at Sydney’s Macquaire University.

    Coco provides chiropractic care to adults of all ages. She is able to easily adapt her technique to treat a wide range of conditions to meet her patient’s needs.

    Coco is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

    Dr. Scott ‘Hung Jae’ Lee

    North Ryde Chiropractor Scott Lee is at Ryde Natural Health Clinic Scott completed his Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie University. During his study, he was awarded numerous academic awards including Macquarie University Academic Excellence Award and Chiropractic Student of the Year (Dux).

    Scott has extensive experience in managing various conditions including lower back pain, neck pain, headache and sports injuries. He thoroughly enjoys caring for patients of all ages and provides optimal care to maintain a healthy life.

    In conjunction with thorough history taking, Scott utilises the Gonstead Chiropractic System to enhance his diagnose and to provide a tailored treatment for each patient.

    Scott strongly believes that right chiropractic adjustment can correct dysfunction, improve the condition and enhance the body’s ability to repair and heal itself naturally.

    In addition to working as a chiropractor, Scott also tutors both undergraduate and postgraduate chiropractic students at Macquarie University.

    Scott is fluent in both English and Korean.

    Dr. Johanna McFadgen

    Chiropractor Dr. Johanna McFadgen Johanna graduated from Macquarie University in 2005, after completing 5 years of study for her Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Masters of Chiropractic degrees. She is registered with the AHPRA and is a member of the Chiropractors & Osteopathic Association of Australia. She has also continued her chiropractic education with further studies in acupuncture, pediatrics and pregnancy care.

    Johanna’s philosophy focuses on gentle chiropractic care for all ages. With a highly adaptable approach, she is able to treat a wide variety of patients and conditions.

    With 3 children herself, Johanna has a real passion for helping children and families get their health back on track with chiropractic care.

    Dr. Angelo Marketos

    Chiropractor Dr. Angelo Marketos Angelo utilises a gentle and conservative chiropractic treatment approach for pain associated with a busy lifestyle, such as back pain and headaches.

    He is registered with the NSW Chiropractors Registration Board and is a member of the Chiropractors Association of Australia. He has completed both a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science & Master of Chiropractic, within which Angelo undertook and successfully completed research into the effects of Chiropractic treatment on neck pain, back pain and balance.

    Angelo focuses on pain relief and rehabilitation especially in desk workers, students and labourers.

Chiropractic – What to expect at your first appointment

Your first Chiropractic appointment will be about 45 minutes long and involve a full medical history, full spinal examination, postural assessment, orthopaedic testing, muscle testing, neurological testing & treatment. If required, your Chiropractor may refer you for x-rays in order to have better idea of the current state of your spine.

On your second visit, there will be discussion of any changes to your condition, report of findings, reassessment and treatment. This will take about 15-20 minutes.

Ongoing visits are usually 15-20 minutes long and offer treatment & periodic comparative assessments.

  • Chiropractic fees

    Initial consultation – $130 (allow up to 30-45 minutes)
    Standard consultation – $90 (allow up to 15-20 minutes)
