The Benefits of Chiropractic

The nervous system is made up of the brain, spinal cord and nerves, and this system controls every part of your body. This includes the function of muscles, ligaments and joints, internal organs as well as functioning at the individual cell level. When an interference to your nervous system is present, it therefore makes sense that this will cause numerous adverse effects to your overall health. Chiropractors are specifically trained to detect and correct changes in your spine that can interfere with your nervous system as a whole, and in turn effect your overall well-being.

Regular Chiropractic treatments will optimise the functioning of your nervous system, which will then in turn enhance your overall health and well-being and help to prevent mechanical disorders and musculoskeletal concerns. How? Well Chiropractors work with the spine to ensure the spinal vertebrae and joints are in the ideal positioning. This creates a system where nerve signals are able to flow freely throughout your body, reducing the likelihood of illness and pain. Your Chiropractor does not use drugs or surgery but rather uses gentle ‘adjustments’ that allow for greater mobility of your spinal joints and correct the position of your vertebrae. The chiropractic adjustment has been proven to be both a safe and effective means of achieving this state of good health.

By enhancing joint mobility and optimising vertebrae positioning, interferences to your nervous system are removed. Health concerns and complaints that can often be managed by removing such interferences may include:

  • Headaches, migraines and neck pain
  • Lower back pain, Hip pain, Sciatica and disc symptoms
  • Pregnancy and pediatric related symptoms
  • Reduced flexibility and coordination, balance, strength and rehabilitation
  • and much more!
