Angelo specialises in the gentle and conservative treatment of back pain and headaches associated with busy lifestyles. Angelo has completed research into the effects of neck pain on balance, and his treatment has seen great results with neck and upper back pain.

He is registered with the NSW Chiropractors Registration Board and is a member of the Chiropractors Association of Australia. He has completed both a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science & Master of Chiropractic.

Angelo focuses on pain relief and rehabilitation especially in desk workers, students and labourers.

Chiropractor Dr Angelo Marketos is available for appointments:

  • Wednesdays 7am – 1pm
  • Thursdays 2pm – 8pm
  • Saturdays 7am – 12pm
  • Sundays 8am – 12pm

What to expect at your first appointment

On your first visit, Angelo will ask many questions about your medical history, with an emphasis on your medical history relevant to your pain and/or injury. He will then undertake a series of movement-based tests to determine the underlying causes and contributing factors of your pain/concern (ie. the diagnosis). These tests may include a full spinal examination, postural assessment, orthopaedic testing, muscle testing, and neurological testing. If required, Angelo may refer you for x-rays or an MRI, however this is not always required to provide a diagnosis and commence treatment. Once the cause of your symptoms has been determined and discussed, treatment will commence aimed at restoring normal function to your problematic areas and relieving pain.

Patients are typically provided treatment in their first visit, unless it is determined that it is un-safe to do so (eg. Angelo requires the outcome of an MRI prior to proceeding with treatment).

Return and ongoing visits are usually 15 minutes long and offer treatment & periodic comparative assessments  to work towards your goals.

  • Chiropractic fees

    Initial consultation – $130 (allow up to 30-45 minutes)
    Standard consultation – $90 (allow up to 15-20 minutes)

    The majority of health funds will provide a rebate for Chiropractic services. We can swipe your card on-the-spot at the time of your booking, saving you time and hassle!

    *Seniors and Students receive 10% off if they visit ‘off-peak’ between 8am and 12pm, Monday through Friday.
